Support Technology for Albany's Students

Give Albany's Students the Tools They Need to Learn!

The City School District of Albany put in a large order for Chromebooks months ago, in order to be able to start the school year with a 1:1 Chromebook:Student ratio. Unfortunately, many other schools and organizations did as well, and they have not arrived yet.

In the meantime, inequitable budget cuts forced Albany to have all students in grades 7-12 learn virtually. The downsides of virtual education are amplified by that fact that many households in Albany have only one device for multiple kids.

In order to get students online and learning, the Albany Fund for Education and the Palace Theatre have teamed up to collect donated computers and distribute them to students. Your financial contribution to this effort will help pay for the accessories that need to be supplied with the computers - laptop cases, external mice, headphones... the list goes on! On behalf our students, we appreciate your help getting these computers into the hands of Albany students.
